Chris graduated from Wofford College in 2007 with a BS in Chemistry. He then shared his love for science while teaching kindergarten through eighth grade students at the Barrier Island Environmental Education Center on Seabrook Island. Chris then spent two years of hematopoietic stem cell research, afterwards entering the College of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. With research at the core of his interests, Chris then joined CFS in July of 2013.
Chris is an avid runner, and enjoys almost anything outdoors. He enjoys walking in the sand on Sullivan’s Island, reading a good book, watching college basketball or football, and playing with his dog, Krotos. He is saving up for a kayak, and would love to learn how to play the banjo.
