Logan comes to Coastal Fertility with an interesting and accomplished background. Logan relocated to the Charleston area from St. Louis, MO where he worked as an andrologist, while building his skills in embryology at The Fertility Center of St. Louis. A graduate of Southern Illinois University –Carbondale, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry, Logan worked as a Research Assistant in the Molecular Biology Department moving on to polymerase chain reaction experiments studying the genome of relative Tetrahymena species.
Following in the Coastal Fertility love of education, Logan also taught an Ovarian Tissue Vitrification course in Guatalajara, Mexico and worked with the St. Louis Zoo in vitrifying oocytes and ovarian tissue of endangered animals in the hope of preserving the species.
Logan has an active life in both work and play, enjoying some of the Lowcountry’s favorite pastimes with water skiing, wake boarding , fishing and golfing.
