Meet Jan Tate, NP, ANCC

Jan Tate is a Nurse Practitioner at Coastal Fertility and attended Old Dominion University for her Masters in Nursing Degree. Raised in Western New York, Jan lived in Virginia for almost 30 years before moving to Charleston in 2023. She worked as a fertility NP in Virginia for eight years, has been a family NP for 25 years and has been in nursing for 40 years.

“You have to have honesty and compassion to work in the fertility field,” says Jan, “but the most important thing is to be able to empathize with the patients and guide them through the journey.”

When she’s not at work, Jan loves spending time with her grandchildren, traveling and hanging out at the beach.
